| fr |
dcterms.abstract | What is a research-creation and how can we acknowledge this methodology in academia? The latter subject of this research is the representation of the difference in Quebec cinema. It offers an intersectional and creative approach for thinking the context surrounding representation of differences. Identified as a “thesis film”, my research is a blend of researchcreation and autoethnography and seeks to challenge traditional academic research. Indeed, a doctoral research in research-creation is an emerging method in the social sciences and humanities, especially in the French language. The methodology discussed in this article is a link between autoethnography and research-creation. | fr |
