Abstract(s)
Our study is part of the spectrum of research on normativity in perception. Formally, we are interested in how motor intelligence constitutes and directs perception. Targeting the concept of habit in Merleau-Ponty’s Phénoménologie de la perception (1945), this work seeks to highlight the processes by which the body adopts motor powers and finally, to explain the role and the normative function of the habit in perception.
