Abstract(s)
Ce texte aborde la place des groupes minorisés au sein des mouvements anticapitalistes qui pratiquent la démocratie participative. En effet, Weldon (2011) propose que le meilleur moyen de défendre les intérêts des groupes désavantagés serait à travers les mouvements de démocratie participative, notamment les mouvements de lutte anticapitaliste. Toutefois, plusieurs auteur-e-s rappellent que les mouvements de lutte anticapitaliste n’évoluent pas en vase clos et sont traversés par les mêmes jeux de pouvoir qui agissent dans la société. Tout comme Ancelovici & Allard (2013), je pense qu’un intérêt particulier devrait être porté envers les injustices structurelles (de sexisme, racisme, homophobie, colonialisme, etc.) au sein des mouvements sociaux appliquant la démocratie directe, puisque ces injustices entrent en contradiction avec les fondements mêmes de ces mouvements, qui se veulent préfiguratifs d’une société réellement égalitaire.
